This collection brings together first-hand memories and contemporary records from a career in hotel operations, commercial development and destination relationships. The chronology ranges from the opening of Hotel Asset Torrejón in Madrid to European travel-trade meetings in London, the Golden Palace years in Turin and later encounters across international luxury hospitality. Photographs, press cuttings, event registrations and professional correspondence are presented as different types of evidence: a personal recollection can explain the circumstances of an encounter, while an original document supports a specific date or involvement. The aim is to preserve the history of the people, teams and decisions behind each project, not to turn every memory into an unsupported business claim.
Hospitality leadership and service
Hospitality performance begins with the quality of decisions made by people. It depends on attentive reception and concierge teams, dependable housekeeping, thoughtful food and beverage service, strong commercial handovers and an operating culture in which problems are solved before they become recurring complaints. These service disciplines must be connected to economic performance: the cost of customer acquisition, contribution from ancillary departments and the long-term value of guest relationships. The Cornell Center for Hospitality Research’s 2017 analysis of Total Hotel Revenue Management offers a useful research framework for this wider profit perspective. My professional experience is distinct from, and not presented as a credential awarded by, Cornell.
International projects: Madrid, Turin, Paris
My professional journey across Madrid, Turin, Milan, London, Barcelona and Paris links hotel openings, marketing representation, luxury service and business-to-business partnerships. The Asset Torrejón inauguration illustrates public-facing hotel development; the Golden Palace archive reflects international sporting hospitality; ETOA City Fair demonstrates industry relationship-building; and the FITURTECH record documents early interest in hotel technology. Today’s competitive environment makes this combined operational and commercial outlook increasingly relevant. The OECD’s Tourism Trends and Policies 2026 emphasises resilience, AI, digital skills and value creation for destinations.
Multimedia, interviews and contact
Historical media archive
The published photographic collection now contains original images of hotel openings, team arrivals, professional meetings, guestrooms, event presentations and historical documents. Featured images and in-article galleries are selected according to the time, place and subject of each account. Where an image is illustrative rather than direct evidence of a particular event, the caption makes that distinction explicit. Files from the personal archive are retained separately from website-ready copies; photographer attribution and publication permissions are reviewed where relevant. Editorial references and historical dossiers remain accessible through the individual articles, while AI-generated scenes are not used as proof of an event.
