Golden Palace Turin: Music as a Bridge Between Cultures

During my years in luxury hospitality, I believed that a hotel could be more than a place to stay. It could become a setting for music, art and meaningful encounters between cultures.

A recording in my professional archive, with a digital file dated June 2014, captures a performance at Golden Palace Turin featuring two musicians: a guzheng player and a pianist performing at a white grand piano.

The guzheng is a traditional Chinese plucked zither, known for expressive slides and ornaments. Heard alongside the piano, it creates a dialogue between distinct musical traditions.

For me, this moment illustrates how hospitality can support cultural exchange as well as international business relationships. Hotels bring together people, ideas and experiences that might otherwise never meet.

Archive note: The performers’ names and the musical compositions have not yet been independently verified. This account is based on my professional archive and recollections.
