On 21 April 2006, Europa Press reported that Hotel Amura Alcobendas had been awarded the Q de Calidad Turística by the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute (ICTE). The recognition coincided with Carlos Almagro’s tenure as general manager of Amura Hoteles.
